    AMCO has been working in partnership with Network Rail since 1995, covering all of its Infrastructure Projects Regions - Scotland & North East, Central, Wales & West and Southern. We also provide asset management services across the Wales, LNE, LNW, East Midlands, Anglia and Scotland Routes.

    SSE have been an energy client for AMCO since 1999 in both thermal and renewable generation. We have built new hydroelectric schemes and storage reservoirs as well as delivering exclusive asset maintenance frameworks.

  • Environment Agency

    Environment Agency

    We have worked with the Environment Agency since 1998 delivering one off projects and as a framework provider of civil and MEICA services. Indeed AMCO are the only company in the UK to be appointed as a framework contractor in all of the Agency’s six operating regions: i.e. the North East, North West, Midlands, Anglia, South West and the South East.

    AMCO have been building and maintaining RWE generation assets since 1995; these include hydroelectric, coal and combined cycle gas turbine power stations.

  • E.ON


    We have been continuously working with E.ON UK since 1998 on wind, coal and CGGT generation sites. These include Bowbeat, Deuchran Hill, Ratcliffe, Ironbridge and Connahs Quay.

  • Dwr Cymru

    Dwr Cymru

    In 2011 we were appointed as a framework partner for the development of hydroelectric schemes on DCWW operational sites. The framework scope includes feasibility, planning consents, design, construction and commissioning.

  • Scottish Water

    Scottish Water

    AMCO were appointed as a SR10 framework partner for the development of hydroelectric schemes Scottish Water. The aim of the framework is to commission 25 GWh per year of renewable energy by the end of the statutory investment period.

  • Magnox


    AMCO are now in their second framework period with Magnox for the provision of nuclear engineering services. The framework covers the Wylfa, Dungeness, Oldbury, Trawsfynydd and Sizewell sites.

  • Scottish Power

    In 2009 AMCO were appointed by Scottish Power as framework providers for substation upgrades and renewable grid connections. The framework covers both of their distribution network areas, i.e. Scotland and MANWEB.

    We have been continually working with Cleveland Potash since 1996. The variety of contracts includes capital improvement schemes to the 1150m deep shafts and the provision of general mining services to facilitate the day to day production operations.

  • Canal & River Trust

    Canal & River Trust

    The Canal & River Trust (formally British Waterways) is the charity entrusted with the care of 2,000 miles of the inland waterway network in England and Wales. We have carried out several upgrades of their moving structure assets; these include swing bridges, sluices and lock gates.

    Store Norske is the northern most mining company in the world. The company was established in 1916 and currently operates two coal mines. AMCO have been delivering mining services to SNSG since 2002.

    We have worked with Natural Resources Wales since 2010; as an exclusive regional framework provider our challenge is to minimise the risk of flooding and improve the environment and ecology of the watercourses.
