AMCO are nearing the completion of a £7m programme of repairs to historic Harringworth viaduct for Network Rail.

Dating back to the 1870s the structure is over 1km long and consists of 82 arches. The structures age, exposed location and inaccessibility had led to extensive deterioration of the brickwork.

AMCO has undertaken an extensive programme of repairs throughout the 82 arches along with strengthening to the parapets which utilised a bespoke drilling rig designed and built in house. The final stages of the project will see completion of listed building consented items and the introduction of construction joints to the parapets to allow the structure to move without causing further future cracking
